His song charted at #1 in the South Africa Stream and Download Chart. It charted at #2 in the Canada Stream Chartand #14 in the Canada Download Chart, and it charted at #2 in the Nordic Top Stream and Download charts. In 1982 Michael Stosic recorded his first album, considered an AOR Soft Rock Masterpiece and Michael was signed by P-Vine Records of Japan in 2020 for an International re-release of this wonderful album. In November of 2024 two of Michael's songs from this album have been included in this new HBO Original Yacht Rock Greatest Songs. His songs are "Backstreet Dancer" and "If You Ever Change Your Mind."

This album also includes a tribute Michael wrote for his little dog Frank called Goodbye Old Friend.
