Michael Stosic -

Michael Stosic recorded his first album in 1982 in Reno, Nevada. This first work was considered an AOR masterpiece and Michael was signed by P-Vine Records of Japan in July 0f 2020 to re-issue this album world-wide. Songs from this album, such as “Backstreet Dancer,” are on several playlists on Spotify.

Then Michael began his musical career in the Christian Music arena in 1986.  Since then Michael has been steadily building a worldwide audience as his music started playing not only around the United States, but in 118 countries around the world. He wrote and recorded his first Contemporary Christian Album in 1986 called "Brand New Love." This album was picked up immediately by KCMS Radio in Seattle Washington and Michael's phone started ringing from churches around the Seattle area asking Michael to come and do his concerts. He entered three of his songs from this album in the International Christian Songwriting competition and all three songs placed in the Top Ten. His song "Surrender" from that first album won the KCMS Peoples Choice Awards.

His second album in 1989 called "Symphony of Praise" was one of the first Gospel albums to play in communist China. A wedding song he wrote for the album called "This Is The Day" became a big regional hit in South Florida and people from around the country were getting married to his song. Other notable songs were "The Wounded Healer" and "On The Wings of Love."

 

 

 

His third album released in 1992, ”Psalms From The Heart,” received airplay both nationally and internationally and Michael began receiving phone calls and letters from people from all over the country. Michael was very grateful and humbled at the same time by this outpouring from the people. Notable songs were "Shout With Joy," "A Pure Heart" and "Ride Out Your Storm."

 

 

 

In 2007 Michael wrote and released his fourth album called "Remember The Cross." His single from that album "Remember The Cross" finished the year in the Gospel Music National Top 100 Chart at #48. Other notable songs were "The Lord Is My Light" and "Lead Me To The Rock."

 

 

 

He released his fifth album in 2009 called "One Heart One Voice" which he wrote for his friends in Africa. He made his third trip to Zimbabwe that year bringing this new music to them. Before heading back to the United States Michael signed a distribution deal for the new recording with Zimbabwe Music Corporation based out of Harare. Notable songs were "One Heart One Voice," "Bless This Land Africa" and "I Love You Lord."

 

 

In 2013 Michael wrote and released his sixth album ”Songs of Victory“ His single "He Will Reign Forever" hit #1 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Gospel Chart in March of 2013.

 

 

 

In January of 2016 Michael released his 8th album called ”Welcome Home.” This album charted two hit songs, the song "Welcome Home," a song Michael wrote after his father passed away in May 2015 and "Thirty Nine Years," a song he wrote after he and his wife celebrated their thirty-ninth wedding anniversary July of 2015. Michael's song "The Story doesn't End Here" from this album was selected as one of the Top 25 Local Original Songs of 2015 by the Reno Gazette Journal. This album was mixed and mastered at MetroSonic Studios in Brooklyn and we are thrilled for the initial success.

 

 

 

Michael Stosic’s new gospel single ”I Believe” has been given the gospel touch by Grammy Award nominated singer-songwriter Gordon Chambers. Stosic and Chambers lead a group of gospel singers to take “I Believe” to a truly inspirational place.

In March of 2017 Michael released the album "Gospel Train" which included his hit songs "Gospel Train," "Teach My Children Well, "He's Alive," "I Believe" and "He Will Reign Forever."

 

On June 21, 2023, Michael released his album The God Who Named the Stars. This Album is filled with inspiration and hope with 12 new songs written by Michael, featuring “The God Who Named the Stars,” “You're Not Alone,” “Peace” and “Show Us Your Heart.”
